Overview

This version, 75S, features 16 flat bed Delta One seats, 44 Delta Comfort+ seats and 108 Economy seats, with Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) at every seat.

These aircraft are flown in a number of different configurations. SeatGuru provides maps for each version. Versions can be verified by looking at the live seat maps on the Delta site which show specific seat availability at the time of ticket purchase or at online check-in. Indicators such as numbering of first and last rows and location of exit seats will suggest the correct version map.

Delta introduced their Delta Comfort+ branded product on their long-haul international fleet in the first half of 2011 and it is installed on this aircraft. The Delta Comfort+ section is located at the front of Delta’s economy class cabin and features up to four inches of extra legroom and 50% more recline. The Delta Comfort+ offering also includes early boarding and complimentary beer, wine and spirits. Delta Comfort+ pricing varies by route length and these seats may be purchased from Delta directly at the time of booking or at check-in.

This row is behind the bulkhead row which must rely on overhead storage. It is also located below an overhead bin that is unusable by passengers (marked "survival pack inside"). As a result, 18E, 18D, 19F, 19E, 19F, 19D all have to use overhead bins above row 21.

Row 43 is the second to last row and row 44 does not recline. We didn't recline our seats as it would be unfair to those behind us. Flight from Lisbon to JFK. This plane is quite small/narrow for transatlantic flight. Always a line for the bathroom, not enough overhead space.

I'm astonished that Delta uses this plane for long haul (5+ hour) flights. This was a "Comfort+" seat, but incredibly narrow -- I'm a small person, and was cramped -- plus rigid, unpadded, upright plastic seats like bus seats, that force your head into forward posture, with no back support whatsoever, and no foot support, which pretty much negates benefit of extra few inches of leg room. I booked Comfort+ because I have a spine problem, and this was the most miserable seat I've encountered. Add to that rude service -- when I asked for pillow to place behind my back, I was begrudgingly offered a flat 1" folded blanket. Shame on Delta!

I couldn't believe how much legroom this seat had, and on top of it, at the time it was FREE as it was not marked as "Preferred" when I booked my flight from DCA-LAX. While I didn't have to get up during the flight, there was enough room that you could get up without making your neighbors get up as well. There are also two tray tables with this seat: one in the seatback and one in your armrest (which does reduce the width). This allowed me to do some work on the seatback table while eating some food on the other table. Since the TV is far away, there are headphone jacks in the armrests as well. The seats also have great recline, and the FAs allowed us to keep them reclined during takeoff and landing. I did not have a problem being next to the bathroom, but I know others have mentioned it, so maybe I got lucky. Would highly recommend this row if you get the chance.

This is not a good seat. Lots of legroom, yes, but there is NO room to stow carry-ons. There is no seat in front to put a small bag under, and the overheads above this row are blocked with emergency equipment. You'll have to give your bags - no matter how small - to the flight attendants to stow elsewhere for takeoff and landing. You can get them back during the flight, but they have to stow them again for landing, and you won't get them back until the passageway is clear, meaning that even though you're right by the door, you will be one of the last people off the plane. I will take less legroom (I am 6'4") so that my carry-ons remain with or near me during and after the flight.

Seat has good legroom since there is no seat in front. However, the seat was extremely cold throughout the flight due to the proximity to the exit door. Very cold air was blowing on my feet the entire time, making it very uncomfortable.

This seat is AWFUL. It is a "Comfort" seat and I was upgraded from a regular seat, I would have preferred to stay where I was. It is narrow, awkwardly placed, with some extra leg room, but the emergency door is right in the leg area. The draft from the door is freezing cold during the flight, so my whole right side was chilled. The screen is locked away to one side, is incredibly difficult to release and deploy, and sits at an awkward angle to the left. This is by no means "Comfort" so don't select this seat, it should be removed!

This is a review for seat 27A on N709TW, a surprising aircraft for a flight from ATL to PBI. Window alignment was solid, legroom was good, and the TV/power outlets were really nice to have. This seat is located a bit beyond the middle of the wing. Solid seat.

The good - Seat reclines, lots of leg room, window next to you. The bad - Exit door protrudes out a decent amount and your feet get icy. (This happened at the end of hour 3 on my flight.) 36 A and F should be mixed marked for the exit door bulging out. 36 C and D should be mixed marked for peeps that chill there because of the restrooms. 36 B and E you might deal with 36A&F's legs near your leg space if they stretch out since it would be at an angle due to the exit door Also you will deal with half a person in front of you being near the restrooms.

These are techically a window seat, except for the fact there isnt a freaking window. This style aircraft has a plug for the fuselage. In order to make room for the stretch of the cabin length, this is the row it is located at. Since there is no window, there is more room to cramp the width of your.

Excellent seat from JFK-SFO. Probably most legroom on the plane besides row 36. Seat reclines normally and mine even had a footrest that pulls out from under the seat. Best seat in the house

Don't sit in economy comfort rows 18 or 19 if you carry on a bag. The overhead bins for these seats are used for safety equipment and you cannot store your carry-on so you have to put your bag further back in the plane.

Very cold feet. Being by the exit-door the blanket was essential. However it was not big enough to cover both my feet and my body. The only advantage to this seat is that you are first off the plane. This is my only experience of Delta's Comfort+ and it was not worth the money. It looked the same as a standard seat. At least I had extra legroom. The protruding exit door was not a problem as my legs fitted underneath it but that meant my feet were closer to the freezing air gaps in the door!

35D-F should be green. Tons of legroom (more than the Comfort+ seats), a foot rest AND full recline. On my flight people waiting for the bathrooms congregated behind them, in front of Row 36, so that wasn't an issue for my friend on the aisle.

seats 1A/B are bulkhead, but have lots of room in front to store articles. Seats very large, comfortable, and change to flat bed. Very nice configuration and plenty of room and amenities. Would have been a great flight except the service was not first class, very inattentive and self centered, not passenger oriented. Airplane is very noisy !

This is perhaps the worst seat in coach. Very limited leg room, and when the person in front of you reclines it is downright clausterphobic (and I am 5'2"!). No recline on this seat, and right next to the line up and smells of the bathroom. Avoid at all costs.

The good: great leg room and nice foot rest makes this one of the most comfortable seats in coach. The bad: being right next to the bathroom on a cross country flight meant you were constantly seeing and smelling people coming in and out of the bathroom. 35F would be perhaps the best seat since you have the same amount of legroom and more protection from the bathrooms.

I'm 6'1" tall and there is no legroom. My knees were in the back of the seat in front of me the entire time. This plane is old. My friends who sat across the aisle where unable to use the entertainment system. The flight attendant tried rebooting their systems 2x to no avail.

18D was a typical emergency row seat with the tray table and tv screen mounted in the arm rest. While the emergency door is next to 18E, I didn't see that it affected the person in that seat. This was the first time i've had someone from 19F using that space as an aisle, and it was quite annoying. Leg room is adequate, but not exceptional. I am 6'2" and was comfortable on my JFK>SFO day flight, but if I was trying to stretch out and sleep, it may have bothered me a little.

Having flown this route in seats 1a & 1b several times, the jetway has never once been put at the front of the plane for either departure or on arrival. The turn left means passengers aren't parading past 1b.

There is a ton of legroom in this seat/row, but the tray tables slide into the arm rests, so the width of the seat is slightly reduced; in addition, this seat does not recline. Having said that, these seats DO have a nice leg/foot rest extension.

Looks nice, but actually is deceptive. Extra leg room is reduced due to padded exit door taking up room in front of the seat. I also had a senior lady hand a bag over the arm rest which further clogged my leg room. The biggest problem is the non-moveable armrests and more narrow seat. I am 6'2", 260lbs and this seat is quite cramped and uncomfortable, so I had a miserable flight from BOS to Dublin. I will never pick this seat again. Also no screen in front and only one power outlet which the guy left of my wife hogged the entire flight. One of the worst seats I have ever sat in on a plane and I cannot believe they charge extra as Delta comfort. Also the "dedicated" overhead space was full and the flight attendant had me go back 10 rows to stow my carry on bag (even though there were completely empty bins in first class just in front). Really couldn't find anything good about this seat.

Good seat overall. The legroom was nice. It definitely gets chilly due to the closer proximity of the exit door. The flight attendant gave me an extra blanket and I kept covered up the whole time I was seated. The armrests don't go up because the tray table is in them. It was nice to be close to the bathroom and not have to disturb anyone to get up. The exit door mechanisms do stick out a bit, but it didn't bother me.

Stay the hell away from 18E. You pay for an economy comfort seat and instead you get something WORSE than regular economy, because your seat is literally jammed INSIDE the exit door. You only get a half tray table, there is nowhere to put your legs, and it is the worst seat on any airplane I have ever sat in. AVOID!

I found that this seat did recline just as much, if not MORE than the standard economy class seat. This seat is truly awesome with more legroom than first class. The only trade offs were that since you have hords of legroom, the TV is so far away and is hard to reach while sitting back. The footrest under the seat also is quite flimsy but i'm not complaining because you still have a footrest! Bathrooms do not matter with this seat because it is tucked so far in. AWESOME SEAT!

This is not a standard coach seat (one whose arm rests move). It is the type of seat found at exit rows (the arm rests are fixed). It does not recline. The nearly 2' of leg room and the foot rests are a plus.

Good seat, excellent leg room (I'm 6'4") and there is a leg rest you can pull out from under your seat that makes it a bit more comfy! The recline isn't as good as other seats, but that wasn't a big deal as I never recline. Flew JFK-LAX and was happy the whole time. In-seat power is always a plus. I usually look out the window the whole time on any flight, so I can't say one way or another if the IFE is good...I keep the moving map on and that's about it..

The worst part about this seat is the blindingly bright blue LED Wi-Fi sign, which is quite a bit more noticeable in 1C/1D (where it's mounted lower, on the bulkhead) than in e.g., row 3 (in the overhead PSU). If you want to sleep and forgot your sleep mask, sit further back. Other than that, the seat was big enough that I could roll around in it in bed mode and generally pretty comfortable.

One thing to add about seat 19F is that the emergency exit door leaks cold air into this seat area, especially at your feet. I am 4 hours into a 5 hour fligt and wish I would have worn my snowboard boots.

The window in 23F was not just misaligned, it was completely missing--just wall! The seats in 22 and 24 might have had misaligned windows, but at least they could control the shade of a window. The seats were as comfortable as coach gets, and it had the new Delta in-flight free entertainment (except no wifi/satellite TV in-flight because I was flying Seattle to Hawaii). I was impressed by the quality of the screen and the convenience of headphone jack in the screen and not in the armrest.

In my opinion, seat 1B, and its counterpart 1C on the other side of the aisle are the two best seats in the Delta One section of this plane. Like all seats in the front row, they feature a foot well which is significantly larger than any of the other seats. In addition, direct access to the aisle is important in case your neighbor decide to fully flatten his seat and go to sleep. Finally, proximity to the galley is more of an advantage than a disadvantage as it insures the fastest and best possible service. Regarding the seat itself, although it isn't all that much wider than a coach seat, it is very significantly more comfortable. My only problem with it is that the only real adjustment is a gradual sliding forward until the entire seat lies flat, which is only useful some of the time, in particular at night. However, there are no adjustments for lumbar and back of the neck support, which would be useful (and very nice) all of the time.

Seat 29F is economy class, window seat. You have 2 windows that look over the wing. I was on a newer plane and I thought it was very comfortable. B757-200 (OW) There was plenty of leg room for me (I am only 5"3"), tray tables fold down and slide toward you, the seat back monitors have beautiful screens! They are a little far away for my vision, but I am sure fine for most people. There is a headjack plug beneath the monitor as well as a USB plug. Under the seat in front of you (in most rows) there are electrical ports for charging your electronic devices. The arm rests are moveable, and I felt the seat width was comfortable. The seats slide/recline a little, not a lot, but enough to rest comfortable. I was on a LAX to MCO flight (5 hours non stop). There are only 4 toilets on this plane, and all are a little small. The "business" section Is not that separate from economy. I was impressed with the comfort of this plane. The galleys are small. They have the new design of overhead compartments so allow for more storage - you put luggage in vertically. Entertainment was all free and there was a very large selection, TV, Movies, Music, Games. Rows 18 & 19 are bulkhead seats and have the monitors in the armrests and pull up and swing out. As a result, the monitors are smaller and can be bumped by passengers waiting for the toilet. Those two rows didn't look really great to me, especially row 18. My only complaint was I was a little cold in this seat, which is unusual for me. MY feet were freezing. I asked for an additional blanket and that solved the problem. If you are going to be in a window seat, wear socks! I would recommend this plane!

Overall, these are excellent seats. Pros: - Ample legroom (Im 66). Not as much as in 19A-C but more than any other seats in the Comfort section - Only two abreast seats in the coach section. - Close to front galley: first to be served and easy to get refills. - Close to front toilet: no need to stand around until its free. Cons: - No overhead space. However, because of priority boarding, you dont have to go back very far to find space. - Slightly narrower seats because video screen and tray are in the armrests. - Very small window. Hard to look out of - Passenger in 19F may want to go through space between 18E and wall, which can be pretty awkward. - Close to front toilet: people are often standing around - Close to front galley: may be a bit noisy at times.

Flew this from SLC to PHL. 3C is a great seat. It has direct aisle access, and since the seat is lie flat, when you lie down, you're pretty shielded from both your seatmate and the aisle. After my meal, I slept the remaining 2 and a half hours until we began our approach.

The most comfortable biz seat I have flown in. These finally have very thick memory foam cushions. So many airline seats don't have enough padding. Granted I am 6'4 and 230 lbs, but a hard seat on a long flight is not good. They are also ergonomic. Because of the memory foam they do sit a bit "hot". To bad they did not cover them in leather or perforate them. But the comfort is great. Nice padded armrests and the armrest on one side lowers to make more room if you push the little button which of course they don't tell you about. The entertainment system is top notch and the screen is hugh and sharp and HD. If you are at a window seat you do have to crawl over the aisle seat passenger if they are reclined or sleeping. So that is a bit of a chore but still do-able. Food was very good on this flight too. Good job Delta!

19B and 19C do indeed have legroom---BUT, you should also note that they they have no stowage overhead--so i you sit there, you may have to stow your bags as far back as (today) Row 25, even if you are Delta Platinum! Also, also they have legroom, they are very narrow and since big tall men want to sit in these seats for their legs...There isn't any shoulder space.

Legroom is excellent! The window is perfectly next to the seat. The exit door slide bump is slightly in the way, but nothing that will hamper to much of your legroom. However, please note to bring a blanket or something to cover your ankles and feet. The air coming from the bottom of the door literally froze my feet, especially my right foot. Extending my legs out fully helped somewhat, as the air seemed to just blow from the door directly under the seat, but if you like to keep your feet planted and close to you, they'll freeze. Also the FA jump seat is directly in front of you, so if you don't want a FA staring in your face during take offs and landings, you may want to opt for seat 36A. The TV screen for the exit row are in the armrest, and when pulled out the screen is a bit far away, so bringing your own device to watch something on would be better. Everyone once in a while, the smell from the lavatory will saunter over in your direction, but its not too bad and it seemed to be only temporary. However, this only happened toward the end of the flight, I guess once more people had used the lavatories. If you are in 36 C or D, you have to deal with the people who stand and stretch, as the area in front of these seats are really the only area of the plane to do this. Overall great seat, and would definitely pick it again if given the chance.

I've flow on probably every type of aircraft that delta flys. My recent flight one the newly outfitted 757 (75S) left me confused. I was thrilled when I boarded and noticed that the first class cabin had been undated to now include the same sleeper seats they use on a lot of the transcon flights. However, my delight turned to a bit of concern when I needed to use the rest room and my neighbor in the aisle seat had fully reclined his seat into a bed. I was trapped! This getleman was SOUNDLY sleeping, I attempted to politely wake him up, but nothing. Finally I was forced to use the FA call button. She looked at him and said "not another one" which made me laugh. She was much more forceful with her attempt to wake him and it worked. However, all of this leaves me wondering how others deal with this issue. i can't possibly be the only person who has encountered this. The 757 is a narrow body so there is no way the can offer aisle access to everyone unless the adopted American's new first trans con layout. 1-1 instead of 2-2. Other than my bathroom issue the seat and service itself was great. As was the IFE, this plane has huge TV screens. The food was also not bad at all, and of course the flight crew was great.

The 757-200 75S seat 36a or f is perfectly fine. The slide is far enough away that you can stretch out or put your feet up. Either way. Gold Medallion member and skipped EC since all row 19 and 18d were booked. Either aisle or window in 36 is fine. Lots of room. Flying same seat on return leg and if 19 is full, I'll stay in 36. Good row. But basic economy and some seat jossling.

JFK-ATL. 19D and 19E are normal Comfort+ seats with no extra legroom. 19B and 19C are great, but be wary that there is no underseat storage. I would suggest avoiding 19A and 19F because of the protrusion of the exit door. Also, the tray and TV are in the armrest.

I think the 75S is one of the best Boeing 757-200s around. The aircraft has been upgraded with great in-flight entertainment and mood-lighting. I found the seat width and pitch to be rather average, however I still enjoyed my flight.

The new BE seats are quite nice, but not really worth all the fuss as the configuration means the window passenger still has to climb over the aisle passenger. The space between the front of the drink tray and the wall with the TV screens is super tight. A bonus of the window seat is that the window side armrest retracts into its base so you get about 5" more width in the seat. TV screens are big for a Delta plane - about 15"

My son and I sat in Seats 35E and 35F. These are "preferred" seats which will cost an additional $49 per seat to purchase (vs. $99 for Economy Comfort), and in my opinion, well worth it! For some reason, there is no Row 34 so there is plenty of leg room in these seats, it's almost like business class legroom - the two cons are: 1) there is so much legroom that the table, even when fully extended, doesn't reach the seat, and 2) the armrests don't fold up, they are stationary. But I think the extra legroom more than makes up for both cons. You won't get the same recline as Economy Comfort, nor will you be able to board first, but you'll have much more legroom! And being by the bathroom wasn't a problem, since it's behind you, and most people loiter and wait by Row 36 (the exit row).

Great seats--surprised to see a 757 totally refitted with full flat recline BE seats. The TV screen is enormous. Nice little shelf above your head with 110V and USB chargers. Foot cutout is a bit small when the seat is fully reclined, but small price to pay. Also annoying that the window pax must crawl over the aisle-seated pax if sleeping, but not impossible. Smaller BE cabin allows FA to focus on individual pax more easily. Would choose this plane again.
