Overview

Iberia's A330-300 aircraft is one of the first in its' fleet to be outfitted with its upgraded Business Class product featuring flat-bed seating. This aircraft operates on long-haul routes with 42 seats in Business Plus, and 278 seats in Economy Class, which Iberia refers to as Tourist Class. All the flat-bed seats in Business Class have direct access to the aisle.

This seat has a box obstructing the legroom underneat the seat infront. I was unable to fit my bag under the seat infront of me and it was very uncomfortable.

I flew MAD to MIA on May 17th. Seat 8L is a business class seat and in a small area with only 8 seats. I paid $440 to upgrade to business and I was glad I did. Well worth it!. The seat was very comfortable. 8L is next to the window. Plenty of storage space. The food in this section was excellent. When in the lie flat position it was comfortable - I am only 5'3" though. I thought the movie selection was a little limited. The monitor was a good size and not too far away to reach as it is a touch screen. Only negative is Flight Attendents go back and forth a lot and often don't close the curtain. As the galley is right here, the bright light shown right in my face. I kept getting up and closing it. There were only 4 passengers total in this section on my flight. The seats on the side are a little more private than the 2 seats in the middle. Those are great if you are traveling with someone. They have a "privacy" screen that moves up if you want it. Any seat in business is great! Would recommend this seat and this section particularly!

I have taken this plane MIA-MAD-MIA 6 times within the last year. It's a lovely airline with a pleasant staff, and service. STILL: FAIR WARNING: they keep the cabin TOO WARM and it has ZERO air circulation. I've been forced to pack two small battery-powered fans everytime I take a transatlantic flight.

Very nice plane with decent entertainment. I love the food of Iberia. However, Iberia has by far the worst seats of any airline. The space for your legs is minimal. It says 31in but it feels like 29in. Avoid if you want comfort.

I flew drom JFK to Madrid in 7G - this seat offeres excellent privacy and is in my opinion the best location on this fligtht. Service is fairly poor and very economy like, food choice was limited as was drinks offered. Not a patch on Qatar or American business class. Best feature of these business seats is the un chair massage function.

Seat 5J is a little away from the window so is not to cold. Not to far from the WC. Seat turns into a flat bed very confortable. Great expirience I will like to reapite again. Compare with AA same rout Iberia is far superior

The Seat was very comfortable and had a very big reclining range making it very easy to sleep. The Seatback TV had a wide range of Movies, but half were spanish and seemed to have mostly spanish Tv Shows. I flew a AA flight to Madrid which was way worse than this. I am surprised with Iberia because AA was known to have a better reputation than Iberia. Iberia was very good. The food was not great as you can expect but the dessert was good, BRING SNACKS on the plane because you will be hungry.I enjoyed my trip on this plane, other people in the middle row seemed uncomfortable but on the outside rows with 2 seats is the best places to sit.

IB6824 Business Very nice seat, in a cozy cabin:-) but dirty, very dusty. it seems they never used a vacuum or a dust cloth to clean the place! And the flight attendants seemed grumpy, as usual at iberia. I bought the ticket through British Airways, but they put me on Iberia from GRU to BRU.

11A: In my opinion, this seat should be yellow at a minimum, and quite possibly red. The offending issue is a structural pillar/projection from the fuselage which significantly limits shoulder room. Specifically, there is a "band" that runs vertically along the fuselage wall, roughly three inches wide, protruding about two inches toward the center of the cabin. Due to the curvature of the fuselage, the taller you are, the more this will affect you. Same issue exists for 11 L. Did not observe issue to be present in other seats in these rows in the immediate vicinity.

Although there is more space for your legs, it's entirely taken up by your carry on bag since the space under the seat is non-existent. Furthermore, the obnoxious curtain constantly used to separate the bourgeois business class seats three feet away from the peasant class economy seats (row 10) dangles obtrusively into your leg room and constantly rubs your ankles. On the subject of ankles, it appears that seats 10D and 10G are set slightly into the aisle since all food/drink carts bash into them when they pass between business and economy class and they have to change their direction afterwards. Overhead storage is slightly smaller as well since it's cut in half to accommodate the business class storage. Overall, I don't think this seat should be green...especially since to get all of the added conveniences of three inches of leg room, you get all the listed inconveniences and are charged a pretty penny for them. Never again.

IBERIA has really upped its game for service and seats. Much better than AA on the MIA - MAD routes. The configuration for business is 1-2-1 If you are traveling together, you need the 2 middle section seats. They both have direct aisle access, which is nice. They re angled towards each other but pretty separate. good if you want privacy, but no so good if you want a lot of time for speaking together.

27J: Emergency exit window This seat has endless legroom because the flight attendant jump seat is in front of 27I. The left armrest is fixed because the tray-table is in it. The window side armrest is very short. The video controller is on the left. This, along with the immovable armrest on the left provides a distinct barrier between the window and aisle seat. Overall, I would choose the window over the aisle in the 27 because: 1) nobody stands in front of you to use the restroom 2) the flight attendant isn't in front of you 3) you can walk around the person in the aisle if you need to get up

I flew ORD to MAD. The slim line seats are OK for sitting while eating and watching the IFE, however it was impossible for me (6' 1") to find a comfortable position to try to sleep. The service was good but they only offered wine with dinner and nothing after. The IFE features large screens and a good variety of choices but the scrrens lack a polarizing filter. As a result the screen diagonally across and in front of you is bright enough to be distracting and even annoying. I wouldn't mind this aircraft for a daylight flight, but it was uncomfortable for an overnight flight. My wife flew business class on the same flight and reported that her seat was too hard and uncomfortable in the flat position. Suffice to say we were both disappointed.

This was the most confortable flight of my life! Plane is new, great seats, great meals, friendly flight attendants. Alot of free entretainment! Wifi connection was also wonderfull. I traveld from Madrid to Santo Domingo! I would definitely again with Iberia again!

The Tray is off set by about 4 inches, the problem I found was the isle arm rest was solid and so my left leg had limited movement towards the aisle.

Not a great pair of seats. Too noisy from the galley behind and there is galley storage directly behind the seats which the crew opened and slammed shut on numerous occasions. As others have mentioned, the cabin was far too warm for a comfortable sleep under the provided blanket.

ORD to Mad. Iberia has really stepped up their hard-product and service. All around competitive business class product. Only problem is that the cabin gets uncomfortably warm. Flight attendants can make in cooler upon request, but suggest that you dress in layers.

This is not bad at all as far as an economy seat is concerned, it has a good recline and it's wide enough to be comfortable for a 6.5 hr. trip, beware of row 10, while you do get a bit more leg space you do lose some of the width due to the tray which folds into the armrest.

Sat in 32L. It was a beautiful brand new airplane, the food was fantastic, but they have installed the new "slimline" seats. It offered no back support whatsoever so I recommend bringing a stiff pillow. I was practically limping out of that plane because I need lower back support because of an old car accident injury.

MIA to MAD in Business. The inside middle seat next to my wife was great, except when stretched out to a bed, the seat is too short. I am 6'3" and the bed length was not enough. The space for your feet was too small for me to sleep on my side. I had to recline the seat and sleep in a reclined position. The food and IFE were good, but the service was too long and fussy, and a few of us just wanted to sleep. It was a late night flight.

My wife and I flew ORD-MAD on this plane, in seats for which we paid a $50 premium for more leg room. Despite this, the seats were as hard as a park bench after a couple of hours (leaving 6 to go), the man behind me could not stand it even if I tilted the seat back slightly and the food was awful. My wife, at 5 feet tall, could not find any position in which to be comfortable, which is very unusual. We will AVOID this plane in future and endure the inconvenience of a change at LHR snd use BA instead for a far better experience all around. P.S. We`are far from being chronic complainers and have a lot of international flying experience.

Great seat on a new and comfortable aircraft. The window is misaligned but I am more concerned with having an aisle seat. In-flight entertainment was fantastic, food was better than other international economy flights I've been on. The seat itself reclined more than I am used to, had an adjustable headrest and wasn't too bad for sleeping. Would definitely recommend this aircraft.

This seat is one of the inner middle pairs. I found the area where your feet go to be very cramped. I had to lay on my back with my feet pointing to either left or right, it was not an option to have your feet facing upwards due to the shape of the pod. The outer middle or Isle seats did not seem restricted around the feet area.

Because this seat is at the very front of economy it is a bit of a challenge especially during a night flight to walk to the lavatory without bumping into people with their arms on the aisle armrest.

I was flying back to Madrid from JFK, and I started out great in 4H. I was flying with my mom and sister, and they were in 4L and 4G, respectively. They were great seats, great service, but I would suggest getting a seat, if flying alone, on the aisle, so that you're more private, and one that faces toward the inside, which are the even numbers. As for the middle, I ended up changing to 4A, since I couldn't sleep well in 4H, since it points outwards into the corridor. If you're flying in a pair, I would suggest the odd numbers in the middle, since they face towards the middle, and are much more intimate and cozy. I noticed that there's 2 rows of business right behind economy, and they seem very private, but they're very close to economy and aren't separated by a wall like the first 8 rows, so I wouldn't suggest them. Overall a great flight, great food and enterntainment system too.
