Flight in Business Class from Madrid to LPA, Bulkhead seat with limited leg room but moved to 3C with very good leg space, middle seat kept empty, excellent service (hot meal, wine, etc.); took flights earlier in economy class and leg room is the worst I had, service is not existing in economy.

Had 12C for a 2.5 hrs flight and it was well worth to spend extra money for it. I had at least 10 cm (4 in) more legroom space. However, the seat pitch for regular economy seats are a nightmare as mentioned many times before, particularly for flights lasting more than an hour.

Very narrow 28 seat pitch, extremely slim and hard backrest, no recline, very hard headrest. Very small space for luggage under seat. Leather seats which make you sweat which in combination with the very hard seat bottom makes this aircraft extremely unconfortable. Not suitable for flights longer than 2 hours.

Very poor legroom even sitting in a forward row. I'm 1,88 tall and my knees were pressed against the forward seat. Any movement by the passenger in front pressed my knees even more. I didn't even have enough room to open my laptop comfortably, and had the passenger in 6C moved, it'd have been in danger of suffering some sort of damage by being pressed against the seat. Horrible legroom, I've just paid for an emergency exit for my return flight. This is what you get with Iberia. I suggest choosing Air Europa if you have the chance, they have much better legroom. IMHO all seats should be marked as yellow/red. As some comments state, a Spanish Inquisition chamberis much better, they even stretch your legs and arms, so they have plenty of room.

The worst legroom Ive ever experienced. Avoid flying with this airline whenever its possible unless you want your knees destroyed. Not even slim seats improve the experience. Horrible.

I totally agree with what was said about the Spanish Inquisition could not have invented any better: no legroom, park benches being more comfortable. Horrific experience. Anyone taller than 1,70m should definitely abstain from this kind of torture. Return flight was hardly any better, even in emergency exit row. Totally overheated. FAs didn't care.

I travelled to hran canaria on this plane and as allways check on here for seat reviews as not travelled on express before , i am 1.73 tall anout 5'8 and found the seat ok not brilliant but not as bad as the people mentioed before , it was a lot more comfortable then my same trip in april on easy jet , even the slight recline as ok ,we where lucky to have an empty seat beside us so had row of 3 to ourselves , which we loaded the middle seat with bags and coats , its a long flight and none of the airlines that travel there have good seating , so you way up the other stuff , price , baggage allow

All seats in this plane should be mark RED, "Bad seat" except maybe exit row and 'business class'. 17cm of legroom and me being 6"2' means I would have been more comfortable in a Spanish Inquisition torture chamber than on this flight. No recline, less than an inch of seat padding on the hard plastic. I hope Iberia reviewed where they fly this plane because I'm sure it's criminal to force people to sit like that in some European countries.

I was honestly shocked by the lack of legroom on this aircraft. I was so uncomfortable from the moment I sat down, but when the passenger in front reclined I literally could not move my knees. I'm surprised this configuration is even legal - even Ryanair has better legroom. I will never fly on this aircraft again.

Whatever you do, DO NOT fly this aircraft!!! The legroom in these coach seats makes Ryanair feel like a luxury airline. I've never been more cramped in my life (I'm only 5'6!), and I am honestly curious how pitch this tight is legal in case of an emergency. Seatguru doesn't list the pitch, but it has to be around 27". BA's remodeled A320s will have 30 rows at 29" pitch, while this aircraft somehow has 33 rows.

Not impressed with Iberia domestic business class. Seats are the same as economy with just a bit more space and the middle seat empty. No welcome drink or priority boarding. The meal was ok. Iberia could do much better with their domestic business class at least comparable to BA Club Europe or IB's own Blub Business.

The flight was from MAD to AMS, i'm 1.90 m tall and this seat is the worst. even if you try you can't sit straigt. i Had to bend my legs to the side to even fit in the row. So if you're above 1,75meter i wont take this plan.

2F is a very uncomfortable seat. I was on a 4.5 hour flight and was not able to get comfortable in these eco seats.

I travel constantly and this was the worst flight I can remember. Madrid to Stockholm, 4+ hours in an impossibly small pitch seat. I am 5'11" and my knees were against the seat in front of me. This is a completely unacceptable experience and I will never fly on one of these aircraft again.

Terrible leg room. Full plane and stuck in the middle seat, both knees and shins scraping on the hard metal plate of the seat in front. 1.83m tall so only just above average. They have packed in too many rows and staff on board reflected the seat discomfort by providing begrudging service at best. Not fun, will try and avoid next time.

Absolutely uncomfortable. 2 hr 40 min from Madrid to Amsterdam. Accustomed to American Airlines seating. Iberia is a partner. I am 6'4" in height. Even with an aisle seat, i was forced to sit sideways into the aisle. Absolutely no way for my knees to fit into the seat. My wife had the center seat and the person in front of her reclined. Literally hitting her in the head and creating a lump, readily apparent to those sitting near. There is virtually no service in the plane. While the flight attendants have a service/food cart, they zip by since the standard Iberia travel seems accustomed to not even having water. We are disappointed in Iberia for offering such a flight. On a side note, their lounge for premium travelers was wonderful, with many options and personable staff (Madrid). This was far outweighed though by the impossible plane seating. We are not sure how American Airlines places them as a partner with their obvious oblivion to passenger comfort.

This seat is the best on the whole aircraft. Much better than what Iberia Express calls business class. Great seat pitch and leg room. Those Recaro seats are usually my favourite on European airlines, but on Iberia Express seat pitch (except for rows 1, 12 and 14) is practically non-existent. So it is definetly worth spending 18 on the exit row seats.

Emergency Exit so sufficient leg room was definately worth pre booking. These planes have the worst low profile seats though with very little padding it is like sitting on a wooden bench! And too unconfortable for a 4 hour flight from london to gran canaria. I wont be using them for this length of flight again it was more Miseria Express with your butt feeling like it was on fire !

The worst flight experience ever ! Really it is a same for anEuropean fligyt carrier to have such seat arrangements, even if this iberia express is supposed low cost. The leg room is less than what health safety hasards sgould allow. I am 1.82 cm tall and i had my feets in the alley, when i had my feet in the regular position my knees where hearting sombad cause they were squizing in the front seat. I will never fly with iberia express again and i recommend to iberia to stop flights wich are a hazard for the health of passengers arround 1.80cm tall or taller. Normally IATA or ICAO should have established sa health safety standard not to allow to such flight carriers to confogure seats with so little leg room, only kids 1.50 cm and less could not face a problem.

I am 6 ft 2. My knees touched the seat in front of me. Thank goodness the middle seat was un-occupied, I literally sat sideways. The flight from Malaga to Madrid was only about 70 minutes, but it was the single most uncomfortable 70 minutes of my life. I will avoid Iberia Express at all costs in the future...

Truly awful experience, I'm 1.93 and fly frequently, also on Europe's discount airlines. Seat is allocated, with a 15 fee to change to another regular seat. Flew MAD-AMS and not only did my knees touch the other seat, I could not fit without taking up my fellow passengers private space. Luckily she was understanding, but the flight was painful nonetheless. I will never fly Iberia Express again and would recommend anyone over 1.80 (6ft) to not board this plane.

I am just under 6ft tall (182cm). Luckily I got an emergency exit row. Even in the emergency row leg room was tight. I could see the space was even tighter in other rows and it would have been a TIGHT fit for me. I believe the other commenter who said they were 175cm and had their legs pressed against the seat in front! Don't know where I would have fir my extra 7cm of height!

Creo que no había volado en asientos con meos espacio para las piernas. Sólo mido 1'75 y las rodillas se clavaban en el asiento de delante, que encima es reclinable. Para un vuelo de dos horas y media me parece inaceptable, Ryanair es más cómodo que IbExpress.

Seat pitch is impossible. I had to sit with my feet in the aisle in order to fit in the seat otherwise my knees were hard pressed against the back of the seat in front of me. They need to remove at least two rows of seats from this plane.
