Overview

United flies the Embraer ERJ-135 with 37 seats in a one-class configuration of Economy. This aircraft type is used for regional routes.

The unique 1-2 layout of the cabin is preferred by many flyers, particularly for the solo seats on the left hand side. Storage is limited on this plane, with overhead compartments located only on the right side of the cabin.

There is no entertainment or power onboard.

Occasionally, for weight and balance, passengers may be reseated when the aircraft is only partially full.

Plane is very tiny, i could not stand up when inside the plane as tge roof is very low. Knees were pressed into the seat in front of me, will never fly in this kind of plane again, plus no entertainment on a 3 hour flight! Stone ages!

Small plane, tolerable because it was a short (1-ish hour) flight. At 5'5", 190#, I fit into the seat, but just barely. Overhead storage is very limited and is only on the other side of the plane. Very tight space under seat in front. Normally, I'm able to fit a purse and small laptop case underneath with no problem. On this flight, those two items filled up every square inch. If I were to fly this route again, I would select a seat across the aisle, which I jealously noted was roomier.

Take 3A or higher. Row 1 and 2 compete for the same overhead bin space. At least you have a chance to squeeze a smaller bag in if you're in Row 3 or higher.
