The window seat isn't quite like a window seat. You're given two windows. The first window is basically where your tray table extends out of making it hard to see out of. The second window is exactly where your seat is positioned. The wings obstruct much of your view. Pleasantly quiet nonetheless.

Great airline, staff are the best in the business, food is flawless and great lounges. Plane is however old, flew to SIN on the latest Lufthansa A350 which has excellent IFE and seat controls. Singapore A380 in contrast is on the verge of being phased out and replaced with newer A350. Positive is this is the largest business class seat in the market with 30 inch wide seats, the sleep quality is unrivalled. Direct aisle access for every seat is a huge plus, you will never have anyone need to ask you to move or ask anyone else. Staff are the best in the business and you will want for nothing. Negatives, the seat is old, controls slow and IFE years out of date albeit the KRIS channel content is excellent. This seat will make you want to use one of their newer planes but it is nothing to complain about either!

Very close to the toilet, within hearing distance of the toilet flush. Also there is some kind of crew storage unit in front of seat - to left of toilet door. This was noisy due to crew getting their things out of the storage. Ok for day flight but avoid at night or if you want to sleep!

The toilets are far enough away and the aft galley even further back so that no sounds nor smells can be discerned while sitting in row 96 (SQ crew are usually quite quiet--no Chatty Kathy types as per crew regulations--and other Business Class passengers rarely wander so far to the rear of the aircraft to access toilet facilities...I know because I have flown this route up to four times a year as a passenger for the past 8 years and counting in Business Class and this row is my row of choice, especially seat 96K). Two things that are good about row 96 is that it is one of the few rows which have an entire bench the width of the Business Class pod to "manspread" compared to the other conventional pods in the rest of the aircraft which only have a cubbyhole for one's feet; and seats 96A and 96K have access to the manually operable air vents in the transverse aisle just in front of the row (a godsend for those of us who burn perpetually hot since the SQ A380 has no manually operable air vents for individual seats, even in Business Class). The only drawback is the proximity of seats 96A and 96K to be near 96D and 96F which are designated "bassinet" seats where infant children might end up being located with their parents (a very rare occurrence).

Unlike many Airbus aircraft, the SQ A380 is configured to have no passenger-operable air vents, even in Business Class. There are only two transverse aisles where there are manually-operable air vents and one of them is the transverse aisle between rows 95 and 96 (four on each side of the aircraft above the bulkhead doors). They largely go unused. Due to the proximity of the transverse aisle, passengers in seats 95A and 95K can repurpose those air vents so they blow into their seats. This is a godsend for those of us who "run perpetually hot".

The airline should give every economy passenger at point of boarding a sticker to go on one's forehead stating: 'You are in Cattle Class' and dont't you forget it. This is what this flight felt like : cattle being transported! But of course there is probably an EU rule stating that it is illegal to transport cattle in such a cofined space /seat with hardly being able to move during a 14 hour flight. Even getting out of the seat one has to become a contortionist!

The seats 95A / 96K are slightly narrower than normal (due to the shape of the fuselage at the back of the plane), making the overall length of the bed a bit shorter, so not ideal for very tall people. This also applies to 96A / 96K

One the worst seats I have ever sat in, so close to the galley I was almost in it and had a noise of non stop noise with doors opening and shutting incessantly. There was more leg room than in the standard business hutch but the noise in no way compensated for that. For the huge price of the ticket it was a total waste of money - had a recently flight with BA in PE on an A380 and it was much more comfortable.

While it is seemingly a standard Business Class seat, the entire row contains the *ONLY* seats in Business Class with an entire bench to rest one's legs on instead of a mere cubbyhole like every other Business Class seat on the aircraft. The proximity to the lavatories and galley is insignificant because the crew are always quiet and few Business Class passengers venture so far aft to use the two lavatories back here when there are so many more available forward. Also, the transverse aisle between rows 95 and 96 is only one of two aboard which has air vents next to the doors which can be angled into the Business Class pods in row 95 and row 96, thus making up for the lack of individual air vents in the aircraft. I fly back and forth between JFK and SIN at least twice a year and sometimes up to four times a year in Business Class over the last six years so I know this model of aircraft intimately.

This seat was the most comfortable seat in I have ever experienced in business class of any airline out there. It is definitely the widest seat and folds into a very comfortable bed. Since this was a red eye flight, I slept perfectly without any distraction/noise from the galley.

Not very impressive to be new Premium Economy. Legrest not for fullgrown people and leaning angel not improved over Evonomy.
