41 A & B are already narrow due to dinner table in the armrest, however they are even narrower due to the entertainment handset being located inside o of the seat, and therefore protrudes out into the seat width making an already narrow seat, super narrow - VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. This configuration follows seats 41 A & B. This is a big design fail. 41C - your seat is located in the aisle way so be ready to keep moving your feet for flight attendants.

The seat itself is more comfortable than on the A380, there's more storage and the bed is nicer. However, the screen can only be operated by a remote (no touch screen), which is a shame. It's a very quiet plane, but I didn't notice a big difference compared to the A380. A disadvantage compared to the A380 is the fact that the seats are perfectly aligned (on the A380, the window seats are slightly offset, which gives you more privacy).

My flight was only 40 minutes so not much to comment on the comfort of the seat. I only want to mention that the overhead cabins along the middle are higher than the overhead cabins on the side. I am 1.6m tall so I did need to step on the seat or get someone's help to take by bags out of this seat. I would have been able to help myself in the side overhead cabins.

Legit business seat - ok honestly the reason I got so impressed is because that was first my 'proper' / 'luxury' business class experience. Used to experience business class only on aircraft like the B737 and A320-families. Those are basically the "premium-economy" looking alike business seats. Too bad the flight time was too short for me to enjoy the whole of it. As 20A is in back of the business cabin, there were not many passengers so it was extra quiet and peace. Huge seat huge legroom; would definitely love such seats on a long haul flight.

Shrinking seats. Your economy offering used to be 19” width. The 18” you are now offering is noticeably less comfortable. I would always pay more for your previous offerings. That is no longer the case.

Disappointed to find the economy seats on the A350 were identical to SIA's B787 seats, even though the A350 cabin is slightly wider, so I guess the aisles must be slightly wider, but that didn't stop my shoulder being knocked several times during the night. The seat is comfortable and well designed, with clever pockets and storage arrangements and top-class entertainment on a good-sized screen. The reading light was poorly directed, and I failed to find a way to adjust it, but am told you can. As ever, food and service very good.

Flew the seemingly endless EWR-SIN and return legs in the solo seat both ways. For the outbound I was in 41H. I am a much larger than average male at 6'3" and a weight-lifting padded 265 lbs. Of course this means wide shoulders. The seat itself was fairly comfortable. The side storage was superb and took my whole carryon-book bag with room to spare. The pitch was less than I was anticipating and the legroom was ok. Better than any economy but a far cry from biz class...and a lot cheaper than biz class. The major issue I had was constant traffic, as I believe reported by another reviewer, to the restroom and thus thus the frequent bumps into my left arm and shoulder. I simply could not arrange myself to be totally out of the way especially since so much of the flight was during night hours and passengers were challenged to walk in the middle of the aisle. I got virtually zero sleep on this 19.5 hour rotisserie grill of a flight. For those who can pocket the upcharge to the exit row, do it. The unlimited legroom more than makes up for the lack of the storage bin and if you can snag a window you're even better off. For a non-biz flight, Singapore premium economy is a very good alternative but be very strategic about your seat selection and don't hesitate to fork out the extra for an exit row as it'll make this marathon much more bearable.

Dreadful seats; hard, uncomfortable and no room at all. We thought that by flying in their new A350 plane on the nearly 10 hour flight we would be more comfortable but it appears that SA have sacrificed passenger comfort for more dollars by packing in as many seats as they could! Plus, only 5 toilets for over 200 people; appalled. Long queues in the aisles constantly and hardly surprising. As always the cabin crew were amazing, the one positive on this nightmare flight!

Flew SFO SIN and back in biz class. Their seats are a BAD JOKE! The tunnel for the legs is diagonal to the seat, because right in front of you is the next seat. After a 15 hr flight, your lower back will not forgive you! Also, no lumbar support. And you need an attendant to switch the into the flat position manually! You are better off with premium economy, or take a different airline!

Don't make the mistake of booking this seat. SQ charges the outrageous price of $88.50AUD but I booked it thinking it was as described, an extra legroom seat. After I read the other comments on Seat Guru I realised with a fixed armrest, two people to your left, slightly narrower seat, 47K legs intruding onto you on an overnight flight, a bulkhead above which restricts mobility, no power charging in the seat, tv arm digging in to your thigh why are Singapore airlines even charging for this seat, let alone the price of $88.50AUD. I am going to try and get my money refunded for this seat, I think it is wrong to describe the seat in such a way without also mentioning its deficiencies.

A good seat if you want to recline and not feel guilty about it. Relatively spacious for modern economy class as would be expected on SQ. Window is located well so that the frame lines up with your shoulder if you want to sleep against the wall. Being near the window in three abreast means the toilets are a bit less disruptive. As mentioned in another review of the same row, there is a storage compartment directly across the aisle which has a bright light inside - if you are flying at night the light will shine on you every time the crew opens the compartment.

I sat on this seat from Singapore to Brisbane. Seat was a bit flimsy, the armrest didn't want to stay in the "up" position, on the other hand, the seat went into automatic "recline" whenever I leaned back - making me feel sorry for the poor person sitting behind me. Legroom would have been okay, hadn't there been that annoying little black box on the right hand side on the floor which limited my leg room considerably. I wouldn't pick this seat again. Crew was very attentive and friendly as usual when flying Singapore Airlines.

Storage shelves behind all 8 seats of Row 33 is noisy and disruptive for pax in those seats. 4 bassinet points behind the storage shelves ensure no peace with screeching babies on board. In contrast, there is space for only 1 bassinet in the latter part of the Economy section. Despite the perceived misalignment, there was no issue with the meal carts. This aircraft has a severe shortage of toilets in the PEY and EY sections (5 to be exact), and the sinks are always struggling to empty water.

Seat is much worse as other Premium Economy Seats at Singapore Airlines. I‘m 190 cm tall and I‘m not able to strech my legs as the seats do not have a lot of space below the seats. Also the Seat in front is much closer as for example in the A380. Too bad! Do not recommend to choose this flight.

The galley and lavatory aren't really an issue. For one, the aft galley is the main galley used by the crew for food prep while the fore galley is just used on takeoff and landing for crew seating and storage. The lavatory is in front of the galley by the flight deck, far enough from row 11 that it isn't an issue. Row 11, and specifically 11D & F, might be the best seats in business class as you get substantially more legroom than a standard business class seat.

This seat has one window and is mostly a wing view. The premium economy seat on the A350 is different from the Singapore Airlines 777 and A380 seats. It may be slightly narrower and with a slightly reduced space between seats, but it is still a very good seat. Being at a divider with economy, this seat still had full recline and has a full overhead bin because of how it is only within Premium Economy and regular economy passengers cannot use it. The seat is close to the bassinet in regular economy.

The TV arm is against one's left leg and depending on how you keep your legs during the flight, digs into your thigh or your knee. There is no power charging capability for this seat, you need to lean over and use the power underneath the middle seat which is just below and to the right of 48Ks left armrest. If the person in 47J puts his belongings on the floor or places his legs to the right, you may not be able to get up to use the loo if they are sleeping.

According to seatguru, this seat has extra leg room, which isn't really the case, as the wall between business and premium economy actually gives you slightly less leg room. That said, if the seat pocket mounted on the wall was a centimeter wide on top, you could comfortably rest your legs on it. As it is now, it can be done, but it's not that comfortable. The seat is not narrower due to the tray table being in the armrest, as all the seats in premium economy has the tray table in the arm rest. Seats E and F has a movable arm rest between them, which none of the other seats in premium economy has. Biggest complain inho is the poor leg rests, as I was unable to use them, since they didn't come up high enough. This seems to be quite common in premium economy and makes you wonder why they even bother adding them. Meals were decent, if not great.

Singapore Airlines have very odd business class seats indeed. They're not that comfortable to sit in, as they're actually too wide, so you don't get much support. If you want to put your feet up, you need to sit at a weird angle, as the the foot cubbie/leg rest is in the far corner. Bed mode entails getting out the seat and folding down the seat back. The duvet and pillow are also located here. A plus in bed mode is that there's a separate seat belt, which is much more comfortable than using the regular seat belt in other business class cabins I've flown. The "bed" is quite firm, but I was fine with that. It also has less "bumps" due to it largely being a single piece. Again, you have to sleep at an odd angle, with your head in one corner and your feet in the other. The foot cubbie is very small. Overall a pleasant enough flight, although the dinner meal was kind of disappointing. Breakfast was far superior, which imho is unusual.

On a 16 hour transcontinental flight, it's nice not to have anything under the seat ahead of you if possible, and normally this isn't an issue on these larger planes. However was problematic for these back rows in the center without the middle set of overhead bins.

I sat in a premium economy seat on an A350-900. This A350 seat loses its seat pitch advantage over economy as you recline because the seat base slides forward and your knees can contact the seat in front. There is also a large black box under the seat in front(presumably for the entertainment system etc) which reduces the foot space dramatically. This 186cm man was not impressed especially considering SQ's premium economy seat on their 777 is much much better. Will avoid A350s.

The seat is a window seat in Premium Economy. The seatbelt has a cover on the right-hand side that is 2 inches thick; therefore, when buckled it reduces the seat width by 2 inches, which is annoying during a long haul.

Had chosen Singapore for its quality reputation; the seat was very comfortable but not so the bed which, like that on Singapore's A380, requires standing up (and waking up!) to fold down the seat back. And again, you have to squeeze your feet into a small, off-center, cubby hold. Service is excellent, food just OK. I'd still prefer Cathay Pacific's business class.

While the standard comment on Premium Economy seats about the tray table is in the armrest, thus reducing seat width and making armrest immovable. This is not entirely true. Seats E/F has a movable armrest between them, as tray tables are on the left armrest for 32E and right for 32F. One can argue its in the middle, but the movable armrest makes up for it, sort of. Do i assume the same for Row 33? Its an alternative if 2 persons travelling together cant confirm A/C and H/K seats. highly possible when there are only 3 rows. I was on 32D but lucky me had an empty 32E. One more thing, if you can, try Book-The-Cook, one gets his meals before the those who didn't.

Purchasing the Premium Economy extra leg room seats is not optional when your husband is 6 foot 4 and has legs that go on for ever. The extra leg room and no seat in front is fantastic. You can stretch your legs and stand up comfortably when you have to. I am not a big fan of the PE seats themselves. They are still a bit squeezy, rather firm and the footrest is more of a nuisance than a benefit. It either doesn't work or it jams in the "out" position. I found it more comfortable to not use it and put 2 cushions under my feet. The toilet situation is very problematic. PE passengers are forced to go to the back of the plane to use the toilet. When the 2 service carts are blocking the aisles it is impossible to get to the toilet. My requests to go forward into the almost-empty business section were refused. I was very distressed because I was not well and needed the lav as many travellers can relate to. To deny a passenger access to a lavatory is inhuman and will deter me from spending the extra money for PE seats again. SIA needs to remove 2 business seats and put a toilet back in. I am now researching an alternative airline to get me to Rome because I cannot do 13 hours from Singapore without access to a lav. Be warned. Wear nappies, folks.

We flew Sin-Sfo in Business, so looking forward to the new 359 I'm 6feet tall and with the bed in the lay flat mode and my feet in that tiny hole it was very uncomfortable.. I got more rest when I sat my seat back into normal position but in this way you have to sit at a angle and after a while your back feels it.. Excellent aircraft, very quiet, book the cook was also good.. But the lay flat bed I would only give 5/10 smaller framed people would be fine I guess...

Legroom was sufficient on this flight, however, the 359 has the same issue as the 787 or 10-abreast 777, which is seat width. Business class is great and spacious, but uncomfortably tight for your feet (small cubbyhole). To rest your feet, you have to sit at an angle, which is awkward after a few hours. The premium eco section is located in the center of the plane, meaning you won't see anything outside once you are airborne. The offer is probably only interesting if you need more seat width, otherwise it's not worth the extra expense. Apart from that, I strongly disagree with the green rating for 41C and 41H. The transition from 2-4-2 in Premium Eco to 3-3-3 is very awkward and the flight attendants kept bumping into the seats without anyone even setting in them. I cannot imagine you would have an enjoyable time stretching you legs here. The rest of row 41 is clearly the best row available. Row 46, seats C and H, are clearly red. While the rest of the row is fine, these two seats are so close to the toilets you are practically sitting on them. Despite some curtains, I cannot imagine this being pleasant at all. Since the plane is rather narrow, there is high chance of people bumping into you on this seat. Regarding row 47, these seats do have extra space, but no window at all. There is not even one in the emergency exit doors (as there is with other planes), so for any indication what is happening outside you will have to twist your neck more than 90 degrees. However, a nice feature is an additional bulkhead at row 47 people can use to switch aisles without disturbing people seated here. Row 48, seats A and K, can be accessed from the front row past the emergency exit, but a bit of climbing may be involved. The last two or three rows do not have overhead baggage storage because of the crew rest department located above.

The reviews that suggest you cannot exit K48 (and A48) forwards are incorrect. It is an extra legroom seat, however it has limited access. It has solid armrests on either side (so is slightky narrower) and those armrests make it difficult to exit the seat to the side, across seats H48 and J48. The exit is forward, inbetween the fuselage and seat J47. The gap is restricted due to the overhead lockers and a narrow gap. It would not be suitable for anyone of more than a slight build nor anyone of limited mobility.

Excellent service. Unfortunately, one of the worst business class seats out there. Unless you are in the bulkheads (row 11 and 19), you have to lie diagonally on the flat bed, so your feet can fit into the very narrow foot well on the side. Very awkward and uncomfortable. Bulkheads do not have that problem, so make sure to reserve them. Another strange feature of the seat is the need to get up and pull the seat back down in order to get the flat bed. So you can't just wake up and get into the semi reclined position. You have to go through the whole production of taking everything off the bed, get out to the aisle, and re-make the seat ("some assembly required"). Same thing if you are in the flat bed position and have to get back to a sitting position due to turbulence. Weird.

This is probably the best seat on the plane for the following reasons: - The bathroom is around the corner and down a little hallway. It is convenient, but you don't even know it's there. Also, that bathroom is somewhat hidden and closed when the pilots are using it, so it gets little traffic. - The area in front isn't a galley - there is no food prep going on. There is some storage and the flight attendants do stuff the area, but it is not bothersome. - It is a bulkhead seat, so there is quite a bit more legroom than the other business class seats. - It is the first seat on the plane, first off the flight if the front doors are used.

My wife and I flew machester to Houston return. Previously we had done this route on BA, usually on an ancient 777. This is much better in terms of comfort and service. Only two gripes. Firstly the footrests on both legs either were not working or they did not rise up very much. They were useless as footrests. Secondly it was a long way from the toilets.

After seeing all the negative comments I had misgivings when I was rebooked on SQ32 SIN-SFO after a connecting flight delay caused me to miss SQ2 (77W via HKG). True, the economy class seat had somewhat less width compared to the 77W, but was not unbearable given my 170cm/68kg dimension. I found the flushing noise in the lavatories to be very quiet compared to my usual 77W. It might have been a different experience had I been seated in a C, D, or H seat - I recall seeing those dreaded entertainment system boxes under those seats.

For all of SQ's premium reputation their Premium Economy is lousy. Did SFO-SIN on it. The leg rest in my seat did not work, and the 2-4-2 config on an aircraft narrow than the 777 resulted in such narrow armrest that I ended up spilling a beverage on my neighbor. The A350 is also an extremely uncomfortable plane, even more so than the 787. There is no space to stand up or move about that is out of the way, important on a 17 hour flight. China Airlines premium economy on the A350 is 2-3-2, which sounds a lot more humane. Definitely NOT worth the money SQ charges.

My wife and I sat in seats 11D and 11F side-by-side. We found that these were the 2 best seats in business class for the following reasons. There is only one bathroom in the front galley, not two. So there was very little traffic around us. Also, the front galley was simply a staging area for food service, not the main food prep galley. The most important tho for these two seats, is additional leg room. Unlike the other business class seats that had a small "cubby" for your legs to strech into while sleeping, the place for your feat was the entire width of the seat. This is due to being in the bulkhead seat. Seats 11A and 11K has the smaller cubby for your feat. The service was amazing. We were well pampered on this flight. We had a very experienced crew chief that lead a great team of flight attendents.

Seats are very small. Arm rest are too small. Restroom very bothersome. During nightflight curtain to the backside of the plane was closed, but to our part of the plane the curtain was open. Every tine the door to the restroom was opened there was a lot of light Asked the stewardess to close the curtain. This was not allowed because the curtain to the back was closed and it was only allowed to close 1 curtain. Next time will try to het a seat further in front or fly via London with Airbus A380. Seats are bigger.

The best seats are in row 11. For the rest in biz class, it is ok if you are below 5' 6" (or shorter than 1.75m); if not, good luck. Only 2 toilets were available for 48 seats! Unbelievable! The front galley was always "reserved" for the captain or crew and biz class passengers had to wait. One of the remaining two toilets was out of use!! Yep, not funny at all. The crew was fantastic as usual. But this WAS NOT COMFORTABLE. I changed all my bookings through Munich for the B777-300 ER. The A350 is poorly designed I think.

Looking forward to firts flight on A350. Felt that engine noise was excessive. Seat comfort and legroom OK but the 3X3X3 economy configuration does not work for anyone, including the crew. Arms rests are poor design. Thin profile tries to add to seat width but are hard and uncomfortable. Even if you try to lift the armrest out of the way, they still project beyond the seat backs. Flying through the night - illuminated seat rows are needed if you have to leave your seat and find your way back. Excellent crew and IFE.

Flew specially from Bangkok via Singapore to Amsterdam, for fly with the Airbus A350. In itself a very nice plane, but a 3-3-3 setting of seats, really can not for a flight of 13 hours. The width of the plane is 10 more the familiar A330 with 8 seats in a row, now 9 seats in a row and that means for each seat minus 3 cm in width. It's a pity that you have placed these chairs. Singapore airlines is a very good company in itself.

This is a standard business seat, where you have to place your feet in a small hole when in bed mode. I think the space in the hole is perfectly sufficient and had a very pleasant flight. The service on-board was much warmer and (in my opinion) much nicer, and the food SO MUCH BETTER than what you get on QR, minus the pajamas. The A350 is the most comfortable plane around. The caveat being that it's so quiet that you can hear your neighbors speak/snore.

SIN-AMS Night flight. Picked this seat (last row) so we could recline our seat for the whole flight and not bother anyone behind us. The seat reclines fully. Good seat with plenty of leg room, however i felt the montior was slighty too high and too far away on the bulk head, i'd have prefered if it was in the arm rest. You have to use the remote control thats located in the arm rest to control the screen, and this can be a lttle ackward. You can enter and exit your seat without disturbing the others in your row, so it's probably the best row if you like a window seat, but don't like disturbing people when you want to get up from your seat.

Very poor space in economy compared to the B777 which I had on the way out from LHR-SYD. The A350 is now the aircraft used from SIN-MAN. There was a box underneath the seat for flight entertainment which meant I had hardly any room for my feet or bag. The seat in front reclined too far back into my face compared to the B777. I am only short and still found this too cramped compared to other aircraft. Shame so many airlines are buying it.

I traveled from MAN to IAH on 20 January. I am slightly disabled so always look for a seat close to the lavatories and where I can stand up to stretch my legs. There is "supposed" to be a lavatory for Business Class at the front of the plane but no passengers were allowed to use it. We had to go to the one at the back of the section. The reason is that behind the galley there is a door that says crew only that you have to go through to access that lavatory! Yet there is still the sign showing in the cabin. Also I stood up twice for a few minutes when other passengers were sleeping and got glared at - not a very friendly crew. Disappointed after the super flight and service out from IAH to MAN on the 777.

SFO to SIN. Seat 11D. 11D & F have much more leg room than the other seats in business. The other seats have a very small foot well, off to one side (essentially under the armrest of the seat in front). 11D/F have the whole space. The trade off is the light and noise from the galley in front. Although the galley in front is just for storage, there is a lot of crew traffic in and out. There is also a closet in front of 11A that sees a lot of action. Food and service were the usually very good standard for SQ.

Seat was good and sufficient for its class (premium economy). I like window seat due to the view (FYI this seat has window) and with this premium economy seat pitch, you can still get out to the aisle easily without disturbing other passenger. The reclining angle was sufficient too, event for long haul. There was enough space to put your legs/feet nicely, maybe there was no bulky IFE system box under the seat in front of me. Just a bit of review apart from the seat, the new IFE system was great with lots of choices and easy to navigate/operate even without instructions (and if you still need instructions, all you need to do is to read the material provided on the seat pocket).

The new Panasonic touchscreen monitor was great and I absolutely enjoyed quite a few movies for the entire duration of the flight. The IFE was pretty self-explanatory and regarding the previous post saying that there was no guide for the IFE, there actually is a book inside the seat pocket full of information on the channels and the operations of the system. I had never encountered any problems with regards to temperature or comfort onboard my flight to AMS and i have no idea why someone would call it a 'screamliner' It was certainly a great way to fly.

Great legroom (there's nothing in front of the seat!) For takeoff and landing, I had a great view up the aisle all the way to the front part of the plane. The monitor folds down the left armrest. The FA's were careful in maneuvering the food carts to avoid hitting the screen when it is deployed.

Return to Amsterdam. Seats in premium are great. Unfortunately 33H has the electrics box placed in such a way that it is difficult to put your left foot comfortably. Moved to seat 33 G and had a fantastic trip. Nice, comfortable wide seats. No bumping at all, all nonsense stories. The row 31 has the TV screens on the wall and NOT in the armrest as mentioned in comments

A350. I was lucky enough to travel on J class MEL-SIN. It was a lovely big seat but you had little control of the sea positions and the footwell area was tiny

After reading the comments in the review dated 19th August in which the A350 was described as the "Screamliner", I was dreading flying on this aircraft. But after a horror overnight flight from Australia to Singapore on the A330 - without doubt the world's most uncomfortable aircraft - the "Screamliner" was almost blissfully comfortable. We gave up our window seat to another passenger who gratefully slept for the entire flight and we occupied the middle and aisle seats. The seats are in a good spot on the plane. It is nice and quiet and you can access the rear or forward toilets easily. Granted, it was only from Singapore to Hong Kong so I can't comment on its comfort level on a really long haul.

Johannesburg to Singapore. Our first ever flight on Singapore Airlines & on an Airbus 350 - 900. Travelled Premium Economy & what a disappointment. Seats 33F & G....very little legroom...most uncomfortable...the partition behind us vibrated & creaked the entire duration of the flight. Cannot be compared to our flights on British Airways, Air France, Virgin Atlantic in a similar class. I developed an excrutiating cramp & requested to be moved to the front row of Premium Economy...this was done but with some reluctance although there was an empty seat.

Flew this A/C from AMS to SIN and then again from SIN to MEL on 18 August 2016. Sat in seat 52G and 50D. Beware that all economy seats in rows C, D and H all have annoying in-flight entertainment equipment boxes under the seats that take up a quarter of the foot room! The 13 hour flight from Amsterdam to Singapore was very uncomfortable due to this. Seats were also very flimsy and would bounce and move with even the slightest movement of people walking in the cabin or minor turbulence. Definite downgrade compared to the 77W that I flew over to London on Singapore Airlines with.

Once again we had to endure the A350. this time we were fortunate to secure (by complaint) the bulk head row. This was a great seat compared to all other rows in cattle class. The dinky headphones really suck. There was no silly frills like the inoperative footrest or coat hook. Cabin temperature was better controlled. Staff seem harried and were at times very abrupt.

The 350 is supposed to be Airbus' answer to the Boeing Dreamliner. Call it the 'Screamliner'. Thirteen hours of endurance in cattle class. This plane is poorly designed. In Economy the seats are cramped and flimsy. More than 170 people stuffed in the back of the plane. The footrest is useless. Even the flight attendants couldn't get it to work. There is no individual ventilation. The plane quickly becomes very hot. The inflight entertainment system boasted 295 channels which were almost impossible to access. At times the channel would change by itself. The headsets provided would not stay in your ears. Obviously not designed for older ears with hair in them. There were no instructions provided so you could learn to navigate the handset. The cup holder looked dangerously flimsy. A coat hook on the left side of a seat on the left side of the plane was useless. I wonder who would hand a coat up anyway? The only plus I could offer is wi-fi and a USB jack at each seat. Singapore Airlines wants to buy over 60 of these aircraft. Unless they improve their economy class; their reputation is severely at stake.

Flew this aircraft on short SIN-KUL route. I wouldn't mark it yellow as the front galley, which was not being used, looked more like cart storage than a working galley. A working galley is behind the front business cabin. This seat (or front cabin) doesn't have much traffic going to the lav either. It's also fairly private as are all business class seats. Seatguru is showing the seats as staggered. They are not! All seats across a row are aligned. Also of note, each business class seat on the window sides have a single large window.
