Overview

The ERJ 175 is a regional jet that operates short-haul routes.

The window seats are slightly misaligned but passengers otherwise find the aircraft to be comfortable with large windows and enough room for onboard storage. For weight and balance requirements, passengers may be asked to change seats within the cabin when the aircraft is not full. There is no inflight entertainment aboard this aircraft.

I love this aircraft. If you can get the first row of econ after first class you're in for a treat. However if you look at the seat width charts you'll see ALL econ seats on these aircraft (e175 and e190, either config) are the widest econ seats AA offers. Yeah pitch can be a pain but I tend to splurge on the first row of econ and it's usually a short enough flight that I don't need the tray.

This is the best plane I've flown on for short range travel. Crazy amount of legroom, I was even able to stretch my legs out under the seat in front and this was one of the cheap seats. Very pleased

It's unfortunate that there are no power outlets, but otherwise this is a very comfortable plane compared to most regional jets. 2F's seat was comfortable, had a very nice armrest, stable tray table, and ample storage in the seatback in front of it. The plane as a whole is quiet and airy compared to other regionals.

This was the most uncomfortable seat I have EVER sat in on an airplane. Hard as a rock, didn't recline. It was like sitting in a cafeteria seat you weren't allowed to leave for three hours. Excruciating! And that was after paying extra for Economy Plus.

Almost brand new plane, seat comfortable and tray was solid and straight. 2x2 seating vastly improves the speed you get off the plane compared to 3x3.

Brand New E175LR with the new configuration and winglets. Don't let this plane's size fool you, it is a very comfortable ride and packs a punch! Seats in Econ are comfortable and now have a headrest that proves adequate for snoozing and sleeping. The interior is modern and spacious, and brand new units have all LED lit interiors. The windows are quite large and are larger than some mainline jets. Engine noise is fairly subdued, but landing a reversing thrust can get noisy on the E175, especially if you're seated near the engines. Another note is that the E175 also have exterior navagation and strobe LED lights as well with the new winglets, and were bright enough to potentially be a bother to some. An overall wonderful plane! The new standard in regional fleets, and vastly superior to CRJs and smaller Embrears in terms of comfort!
