Middle East Airlines: Children Flying Alone

What is Middle East Airlines' (ME) Unaccompanied Minor Service?

Children travelling alone are considered unaccompanied minors, and are attended to by the Middle East Airlines (ME) Special Care team or other Middle East Airlines staff from arrival at the departure airport until the child is collected by the person designated to pick them up upon arrival.

What age does my child have to be to qualify as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM)?

Children under the age of 5 may not travel unaccompanied on Middle East Airlines (ME) flights. A special escort is required, and there is a special charge for this service. Children ages 5 to 11 travelling unaccompanied are considered Unaccompanied Minors, and are provided special Unaccompanied Minor handling, for which a special fee applies. Unaccompanied Minor service can be requested for children 12 to 16.

How can I reserve this service?

Passengers should submit the Unaccompanied Minor Form to Middle East Airlines (ME).
