On flights between Beirut and Europe, the fees for overweight baggage are determined by the route travelled. Each piece must be no more than 32 kg, or it will have to be transported as cargo. The fees are charged on a per-piece basis, and are as follows:

  • Flights between Beirut and Eurozone countries: 100 EUR
  • Flights between Beirut and Geneva: 100 CHF
  • Flights between Beirut and London: 100 GBP
  • Flights between Beirut and other European countries: 100 USD or local equivalent

Are there fees for sports equipment on Middle East Airlines (ME)?

Passengers may transport one piece of sports equipment free of charge, provided it weighs under 23 kg. Each extra piece of sports equipment under 23 kg will be charged at a rate of 200 USD / piece or local equivalent.
