This seat is in the first row of Economy Comfort and it's a bulkhead seat. There's LOTS of leg room in this row. There are "seat"-back pockets on the bulkhead wall for small items. I didn't mind the screens and tray tables that flip out of the arm rests. My biggest complaint is that the seats are far too narrow. I was shoulder-to-shoulder with neighbors on both sides of me. Each of us were about the same size, average size men and not particularly overweight. Once we got to altitude, I reclined my seat slightly to ease this.

This seat is within the small business class section between the Galley in front and Economy class section behind you. There are negative reviews about the attendants excessively moving trolleys between the Galley and Economy class, forgetting about passengers in this section in favor of the main Business Class section. These do exist to some extent, and if you fixate on them then yes you will notice it. But really, it’s minor. I love how there is only one row of seats, with excessive overhead space which is good to hold all the great stuff you can buy in the Amsterdam airport, the foot room is spacious for every seat and I get a better sleep on this flight compared to most other aircraft. Overall, I find this section to be very private, with more openness and relaxation because of less people.

this is a bad row of seats: the reason is because it is right behind the last row of the Economy comfort zone. the seats on row 14 have a greater recline that seats starting at row 15...seat pitch between row 14 & 15 is standard pitch but due to the fact that the seats in row 14 have a greater recline to get clamped when seating in row 15! AVOID that row!

Row 10, Seats H, J, & K have the most pitch out of all the seats in Economy Comfort. I'm 5'8" and I couldn't even touch the bulkhead wall with my feet. I could literally stretch out, recline, and be able to sleep. The rest of Row 10 had bulkhead walls with standard pitch for Economy Comfort. Downside though is that your tray is in your arm rest and the video screen is also foldable.

Below 10D is a technical steel box using up 75% of the foot space, effectively leaving only one leg stretched at one time. The box sticks out to the walkway leaving no space for a foot or leg unless you put that in the walkway. Basically this should be marked as bad red seat.

I was in seat 32K (window) on the Amsterdam to Johannesburg flight on the 29th July 2018. There was a bracket for the seats in front of my blocking about half the space in my foot well. This meant that for 11 hours I could not put my right leg under the seat in front of me or if I did put it in at an angle, the bracket was biting into my leg. Do all window seats have this leg-space restriction? To make matters worse the large gentleman on my left (32J) spread his right leg into my remaining space and his elbow across the shared arm-rest. Apart from that the service was good and very friendly.

12K is a premium economy seat, which was comfortable for night sleep, but uncomfortable for seating in general. I won't go and 777 200er with 3-4-3 seats anymore, its too uncomfortable for people over 190cm tall due to seating width on 11 hours flight. I returned from Seoul to Amsterdam.

There were only 10 inches of foot room in this seat. The wider room for your feet is anywhere in row 1 because they are up against the bulk-head and the foot area does not have to be crimped. The food ranged from just edibile to downright disgusting. A better carrier by far is Air France (when they are not on strike); seats in business are only 4 across in the 777 and plenty of room for the feet.

Flew YYC-AMS in seat 14H, Economy Comfort. Loads of legroom, had no issue there, and I am 6'3. Service was excellent, with a light snack (roasted almonds) and beverages served shortly after take-off, followed by a full meal service (vegetarian pasta or chicken tandoori with rice), then breakfast (breakfast sandwich with egg on an English muffin, fruit, yogurt and muffin) shortly before arrival in AMS. Cabin crew came through nearly every hour with water or juice, plus there was a snack bar in the aft galley should you want anything during the flight. AVOD system was fantastic, large screen and very responsive to touch, with loads of options. I was impressed with KLM's service. Only complaint is that as you are in an aisle seat, I found it to be annoying to constantly get whacked in the face by people's bags during boarding, but that isn't the fault of KLM- simply unaware passengers who lack spacial awareness.

Flew from Amsterdam to Shanghai Pudong in the New World Business class seat 4D of the Dreamliner. Seat was comfortable, plenty of storage space, nice big AVOD screen with wide choice. KLM is by far my favourite Airline, service is always with a smile and the food is very good. Love the tradition of the Dutch Delft's Blue house you get as a gift in Business Class.

Flying from SP - AMS For the first time I got a seat in business class.It was Amazing as I was used to only fly economy. I slept comfortably and didnt feel the time pass at all. Large seats that go completely flat, I would recommend anyone that has a change of upgrade to do it. The trolley comes from the other side so If you want to get served first get the seats H and K mind the seats that have direct contact with the galley as you will have direct contact with the steward all the time. Anyway after the service is finished they close the courtains and it is not a bother. I didnt like the main course as the salmon was dry and the rice was really dry. Nevermind this, I enjoyed business class and will cry in the next trip when I have to go back to economy.

The Boeing 777 still is a wonderful aircraft, if only the original 3-3-3 configuration had been kept, it would be a marvel. KLMs seat pitch is fine for anyone standing at or below 62 (188cm) as there is just enough space to stretch your legs underneath the seat in front of you, even if its been fully reclined. The tray tables have a simple but practical two stage folding feature. The PTV screen and media selection is quite good though in these days one may feel the need for inflight Wi-Fi on longer flights. What I really didnt like was the width of the aisles and seats. By adding the 10th seat abreast walking down the aisles without hitting anyone is a true challenge (Im 62 at 190 lb) as is not being hit by a passing crew member or food cart. This is not just a KLM/Air France problem as most of the 777s operating are using the new 3-4-3 configuration. Food was good and the crew was very good as you would expect from such a prestigious airline. While I long for the 3-3-3 days, I would recommend this aircraft in its present configuration.

The legroom is a plus, but I would prefer to have the window seat. This is why: the seat is kind of in the path of commute and when people congregate to go to the lavatory, they will very likely bump into you or step on your toes. This happened to me over 20 times, which is no big deal, but if you're tired can get pretty annoying. Also be aware the middle seats at this row are almost always used for passengers carrying infants.

Slightly narrower seat but great legroom. The emergency door (that sticks out inwards) was not bothersome (i'm 6"4), actually it was nice to put my feet on from time to time (the flight attendants allowed this). Not bothered by people waiting for the lavatory. Beware that at this row you'll very likely have babies close to you because of the bulkhead that holds the cribs.

Very poor seat 41C (also 40C and pretty sure also 41H and 40H). The seat-width of these seats is significantly less than all other economy-seats because of the curvature of the aircraft in the rear. I agree that 40AB, 41ABE and pretty sure 40JK and 41JK are very good seats with more legroom.

19A is a window seat, but it straddles two windows. This can be interesting for looking out, but you do have to crane your neck slightly to see out either window. (Also, proximity to the wing means it's hard to see much, anyway.) Also, having a window rather than the wall right next to your head means it's difficult if you usually lean your head against the wall to sleep, as the window is, of course, indented, and again, your neck will be more sideways.

If you book seat 18A expecting a window seat,you won't have one, only interior paneling to look at, the same as KLM's 777-300 (v2). After flying the latter SFO-AMS I changed my seat on the -200 return flight to an aisle seat, and I'm glad I did.

New WBC-seat that has KLM at least in the middle of the pack. Still no direct aisle access though. Recommend middle seats for single travelers. Soft, relatively wide seat. Ergonomics could be better, storage is more behind than next to you. Angle towards the side gives you lots of privacy in the window seat.

31 is the exit row, and as such, there are benefits...to an extent. the 'window' seats don't really have a window, unless you recline and crane your next. and there are the inflatable slides to content with. certainly not worth the $65 i paid (and my 600k with skyteam wasn't a help either). the mid-cabin seats have a bulkhead to the floor, so you can't stretch legs; stick to b/c or h/j if you're in the market for more space...

Obnoxiously narrow seats. No perceivable difference between this and standard economy. I've seen veal with more room to move around.. Entertainment block is placed in your foot space. 1G has only half the foot space of 1D. Neither 1D or 1G have any overhead space and you have no storage at your feet either for takeoff and landing!. Unacceptable for Buss Class. Only plus point is it is right across from the toilet - if that's important for you.

KLM's move to the new configuration was not for the best. Seats are not comfortable and as always, narrow. By squeezing an extra seat in a row, the aisle is so narrow that the trolleys hardly can go through them flight attendants and any passing passenger will bump in to you. when in an isle seat. Legroom is OK in economy comfort.. I keep wondering why the national airline of a country with the tallest people in the world can get away with such small and narrow seats. Sleeping difficult due to the straight formfactor of the seat, and for a 13 hour flight, they are just plain hard and uncomfortable. This comment goes for every plane fitted out with the new seats, including the 787.

Any of the seats in row 10 should be marked as bad seats. Yes they have extra legroom because of the bulkhead but they should be avoided because there is hardly any width in the seats due to the tray table being stored . I had seat 10C, both on KL597 and 598 (AMS-CPT). I agree with everyone who said the seats are insanely narrow; you have contact with your neighbour all the time, and everyone bumps into you on the aisle. There's also the inadvertently switching on and off of your reading-light, by rubbing against the switch with your upper right leg. Be also aware that you may have to endure young parents and their infants, since row 10 is designated for them. Sleeping in the seats is close to impossible, because the seats are to flat to give any support. You will simply glide off when relaxing, unless you're buckled up.

Flight from ATL to AMS. Seat 11A would have been ok if I didn't have the person next to me overflowing into my seat. The seats are way too narrow. Flew with the updated 777-200 from JNB to AMS. The updated interior is a big improvement for me personally. Is was sitting aisle 22H. The new seats offer more legroom and for a tall guy like myself (1.95mtr / 6ft 5in) than the old config. Service was great once again, seats are wide enough for a normal build guy like myself. Had a great flight and got some good sleep. The seats were firm, but comfortable but i think this is a matter of taste. Row H is great for tall people, as the legroom underneath the seat in front of you is unrestricted!

As last row of business class, it takes very long to get served for meal. I took the flight AMS-NRT and NRT-AMS and on both flights I got dessert 3hrs after take-off. What is also annoying is that all service for the economy class cabin is prepared in the galley in front, so there is always traffic with trollyes back into the main cabin. If possible, get a set in business main cabin.

All the seats in row 15 are the first row behind the Economy Comfort and with the extra recline of those seats you end up with a face full of seat. To add insult to injury row 15 is a "preferred" seat and I paid an extra 30 for it. Total rip-off with the lack of room and also because the overhead bins fill really quickly so it's a struggle to find a place for our carry-on bags. This whole row should be red seats on Seatguru.

Flight was from Amsterdam to Panama City. Service is what you can expect from KLM, spot on and good, though boarding felt a bit chaotic because of the long lines at the gate. The seat itself was, pitch wise, surprisingly comfortable for me. The pitch, for being 31", gave me a legroom that felt like I was on a narrowbody (where I tend to feel more comfortable pitch wise than on a widebody). Despite my 5'9", 265 lbs, the seat itself didn't even feel narrow and I could stretch my legs. Only downside was the airshow on the entertainment system, which kept resetting itself, forcing me to set up the map all the time. Overall, a great flight despite the slight delay on arrival.

Absolutely THE worst seat. I am 5.1 foot and came on board with mybown cushion for my leg so no peoblem the seat was extra hard...but the width?? How can you overcome midget width that means neighbour spills over like it not and you get pushed to spill i to aisle and get rammed by every trolley and passer by...as does everyone in every aisle incuding hostesses who comp,ained to me they have massive bruises frim it! Plenty of legroom...hard hard stiff seat with little support for thigh as seat ends short....made fir midhets in every respect....and i am short!...but the real bug is the width. It forces you to spill and it forces you to sit ram still from top to knee....no wiggle possible ...so DVT a very high risk. Avoid KLM.

The man next to me in the middle was continuously bumping into me because he didn't have enough room and even though I am just an average-sized man I was also getting bumped from people walking on the aisle. On some KLM planes I've found less foot traffic in Econ Comfort but the flight staff kept walking in from the front sections of the plane on this flight so they were constantly bumping me. All this bumping from both sides caused a frustrating flight where it was difficult to get any rest. There was enough leg room but I would have sacrificed it for wider seats.

this is V2 of the KLM Boeing 777-200ER. I was extremely pleased with seat 43A - it has full recline, with no one behind you (no kids kicking the seat), you're not actually that close to the galley or bathroom, so I found it very quiet. Seats in row 44 (the middle) didn't look like they reclined, but we had a very large gap of space behind us. Based on the KLM method of boarding customers, we got to board first, and we also got served first, which was nice!

Glad we paid extra for these extra legroom seats. Well worth it. Row 10 (in front of us and at bulkhead) had people walking across their legs.

In Economy (comfort) this seat offers the best legspace. In this 3-4-3 setup the seat is very narrow, combined with having the table and videoscreen folded in between seats. All seats are very narrow. The middle seat is terrible if the other two seats are taken by males also. No shoulder or armspace.

This is the worst seat on the plane, getting hit by every single person and cart that walks by. It has limited legroom due to the curvature of the plane, meaning your left foot spot is where the support for row 42 is and the inflight entertainment box is taking up part of where your right foot would be. Absolutely horrible location, this seat should not exist.

we travelled on July 13 from AMS to Toronto found these seats excellent. Area in front of 12 A and B was without obstruction, enough room for small carryon and feet. In front of 12 C enough legroom with one seat support of seat in front.

KLM Asia plane from CPT to AMS was VERY good. Lie-flat seats, ample room, personal storage shelf with both outlet and USB charging ports, large personal t.v. screens with ample entertainment options, large pillow and coverlet plus amenities kit (clutch-like option, if you prefer), newer handheld controller with mini screen, all with lots of food and drink options. Might be the best flying experience I've had.

The middle seats in this new configuration, even in economy comfort are very narrow. Also the gangways, some people can't walk straight in them. I had the feeling we were flying a price fighter.

Pure horror. Zero sleep either direction. The reclined position of the economy seats on this plane is the upright position of most planes, including my European connecting flight also on KLM, where I did get little aleep. Apparetly you now have to pay extra for economy premium to get a normal seat instead of a specifically designed torture chair.

New seating configuration and seats in economy are like sitting on a church pew without the cushion. Service, food, airport services etc were all good. But 11 hours on one of those hard seats with a metal bar in your foot space is torture. Made a long flight appear to be even longer. Impossible to sleep in these seats. Plus aisles are so narrow that bumping is constant for the aisle seats.

We flew to Cape Town in KLM's Boeing 777-206(ER) serial 34712 / 559 with registration PH-BQM on Monday March 20th.I was terrified to take this flight in the new 3-4-3 configuration of KLM's B772 aircraft. However, I have to admit,these seats are an improvement on the old seats. Economy class will never be comfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised by the space we had. Of course we sat right in the tail of the plane,a location I prefer due to the fact that it is close to the toilets at the back and has plenty room to stretch legs without disturbing other passengers. Seats E, F, and G, in rows 41 - 44 are in my opinion, the best economy class seats in this aircraft.

Not worth purchasing Economy Comfort for this seat - the leg room is restricted by the audio visual entertainment box and the aisle seem to be extra narrow such that I was always being jogged by crew passing up and down. Also 789 appears noiser than Airbus's.

The KLM's B777 (both models) are probably the worst in leg space for Economy comfort. Having the media box in front of you on some seats. There's actualy only one good spot, seat 10k, the wall in front of you gives some more 50 cm(!) space! Don't bother spending extra money on other eco comfort seats! Shame on you KLM!

Stay well away from these business class seats. Its right by the kitchen that serves economy class so the stewards are up and down all the time. A lot of traffic goes past these seats. You certainly dont feel like you in business class.

Very good seating in the new business class! Very roomy, really flat bed, good inflight entertainment, good service. Much better than Britisch airways I fly normally to and from Rio de Janeiro.
