Flew last in October London - Jakarta- (SYD) upgraded to First from Business. Also flew Jakarta to Sydney Garuda then discontinued the route within a few weeks! Many people were re-booked via KLM and 2 stops or cancelled! Then it has been trying to re-instate them, with 3 proposed dates, and only started again yesterday 13th December. First Class has been removed from the one 773, so only the version with reduced 26 Business now runs to Europe. Very unpredictable Management for an Airline, great on board but awful on the ground, very poor organisation. Very good fares, but don't book months ahead as anything can happen with Garuda. A sad, but fact these days, returning to the poor reputation they had some years back.

On my flight to Amsterdam from Jakarta was a good seat that is cheap compared to other airlines amazing food and service seats were fully flat and very easy to sleep in. The only downside was my IFE was broken for the last r hours of the flight with multiple attempts to fix but yielded no results i would say 8/10

I flew CGK-AMS-LGW, seated in 1A all the way. First class staff (2 people) greeted me off the plane in Jakarta, took me to the lounge, checked me in for the flight. There were three staff members for first class (only 8 seats). I was the only passenger! Food selections were fantastic, both Western and Indonesian dishes done exceptionally well. Pajamas and (very good) slippers. Loewe amenities, very nice. Seat comfortable, not the best as a bed. Great bedding, tho. Short layover in AMS, greeted at the plane door, driven in Mercedes S class to the secret First lounge, then driven back to the plane. Greeter at Gatwick who helped all the way into my car. Unbelievably elegant service. Will be interesting when changes to LHR via SIA...

There is a console that you need to squeeze through to get to the seat, and if you are heavy like me it is not easy, or for anyone for that matter. You are seated directly next to someone; even with the partition it was too close for comfort for me. But the Garuda Indonesia crew was amazingly accommodating; they asked an off-duty pilot in row 16 to change seats with me, and he did. Great service otherwise.

This is an aisle seat in the middle row. Seats in rows 21-23 are good because they are in their own compartment. 21H and 23H are better seats, 21H has tons of legroom and no one in front, and 23H has no one behind and juts out a bit so that you can recline with no intrusion. Legroom is decent in all seats, there are tv screens behind every seat with nice variety, and even on the Gatwick - Amsterdam leg, they provided us with a wrap and a muffin, which is nice for a 40 minute trip

Flew from Denpasar to Tokyo Narita. The toilets in front the seat didn't bother me. Although I missed the window, the seat was very comfortable.

I flew this aircraft both 89 from LGW-AMS-CGK and the return flight 88 from CGK-AMS-LGW. The legroom was of course the largest that I could get as it's located just by the emergency exit. It's not a seat for passenger with a baby as there is no wall in front of the seat (you won't be seated here anyway if you have a baby). Something that some or most people may be a bit upset about is that you seat on a "window seat" but there is not a window next to your head. You need to twist your neck a little further to left to look out of the window shared with the passenger next to you. Other than that (and the unmoveable handrest), I found the seat very comfortable for my legs, and only two steps away from lavatories. No chance you won't get the meals of your choice because they will be served starting from you. You will be greeted a lot by Garuda's happy-smiling FA's who are always ready to help you with your needs. The Sound of the flushes could be bothersome for sensitive ears lobes but I didn't suffer from it. Normally turbulences are lighter felt as it is compensated by the wing flexes. Hope this one helps.

The seat was very comfortable and I enjoyed the space the cabin radiated. Very helpful crew, however I deid hear some people close to the lavatories complaint of noise from flushing and doors. Crew constantly walked in the toilets for inspections. I salute garuda and will fly them again June 3 from Amsterdam to Jakarta.

Was a short flight from LGW-AMS. The toilets behind the seat didn't bother us, and nor did the galley but would be uncomfortable on a long haul. The seats were very comfortable, plenty of legroom and the crew were unbelievably helpful.

The seat pocket in front has a rigid metal bar that sits uncomfortably below your knee and makes it very difficult to relax.
