Vueling's Airbus A321 seats 220 passengers in a single Economy class configuration. Vueling does offer seats that feature added comfort for those who are willing to pay an additional fee.

XL Seats in the Exit Rows (12 and 28) provide passengers with extra legroom and are available for an additional 10 euros.

Seats in the first row of the plane are 'Excellence' seats that can be reserved for an added fee.

Priority, located behind the Excellence Seats, allow for a quicker exit but come at a cost of an extra 4 euros on domestic flights and 5 euros on international flights.

Basic Seats cost 2 euros on domestic flights and 3 euros on international flights; allowing you to choose from the remainder of available seats.

10d seat awful- avoid 10d & c both slightly ( 10cm) more into the aisle due to the crew seat being next to the emergency exit. This means that everyone moving up / down the aisle knocks your arm.

I flew VUeling Malaga to Barcelona, my seat was 6D. I paid for Optima fare because I had a bag to check. I ended up with a second suitcase as well as my backpack so had to pay for a 2nd suitcase. That cost me another $40! I didn't know ahead of time I would have 2nd bag, the fare ended up being a lot! The advantage of Optima fare is you can reserve your seat ahead of time and that section is not as full as rest of plane. All the seats are the same, they DO NOT RECLINE! There is a small tray table but nothing is served unless you pay for it. The seats themselves are pretty comfortable and overhead storage is adequate, which is good because EVERY SINGLE PASSENGER had a roll on suitcase! I notice that the gate agents didn't really police what people carried on and I saw some people with 2 bags. Flight was a little late, but overall good flight. I god lucky and the seat in the middle next to me was empty. I would recommend flying Vueling if you are not going on a long flight.

Engine view out of the window. Seat pitch not huge, can be uncomfortable for bigger people. Seat and aircraft were new and clean.
