Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. You must be able to lift your carry-on into the overhead storage without assistance. All carry-on bags must adhere to the following requirements:
- Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 45 linear in/115 cm (length + width + height)
- Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22 lb/10 kg
Due to airport security regulations, no cabin baggage is allowed on any flights originating from Jammu and Srinagar airports. REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing. Read Bulkheads Explained
Checked Baggage Allowance
- Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
- Maximum Weight: 44 lb/20 kg
Overweight Baggage Fees
Excess baggage is charged Rs.80 per kg over 20 kg.
SpiceJet charges a fee of Rs. 500 per piece of sports/skiing equipment, as long as it is less than 12 kg. Items weighing more than 12 kg must be checked as excess baggage. Excess baggage will be charged Rs. 80 per kg.
Carriage of a CPAP device on board is subject to security clearance. Additional restrictions apply if the machine is powered by lithium batteries. Please write to firstname.lastname@example.org for clarifications on the same. As Inflight power supply cannot be provided, the CPAP device must use a battery that can power it for at least 150% of the flight time. For instance, if the flight duration is 2 hours long, the battery supply should last for at least 3 hours. To check the flight duration and to make the necessary arrangements, please get in touch with our customer relations executive at least 48 hours before the departure of the flight. Passenger must report to the check in counter, at least two hours before the departure time. Front row seats and emergency exit row seats will not be assigned for those carrying these devices due to safety reasons.
