What is Helvetic Airways' Unaccompanied Minor Service?

Young children between the ages of 5 and 12 traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors on Helvetic Airways. The airline provides a chaperone service to assist these children from their point of departure to their final destination.

What age does my child have to be to qualify as an Unaccompanied Minor?

The service is mandatory for children between the ages of 5 and 12 traveling without an adult who is at least 18 years old.

Children ages 12-17 years are not considered minors on Helvetic Airways. The airline will not provide a chaperone and does not accept any liability for supervision.

Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to travel unless accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old.

What are the fees associated with this service?

The fee for an Unaccompanied Minor is CHF 80.00 each way.

This charge is in addition to the applicable airfare as well as any associated ticketing charge. The charge will be assessed for each individual unaccompanied minor.
