What is Air Belgium's (KF) carry-on/cabin baggage policy?

Air Belgium's (KF) baggage policy depends on which class you have booked for:

Business Class

  • Two pieces (55cm high X 35cm wide X 25cm deep - including wheels and handles).
  • One small accessory (laptop bag, handbag).

Maximum 16 kg in total. Your baggage may not exceed 10kg per piece.

Premium and Economy Class

  • One piece (55cm high X 35cm wide X 25cm deep – including wheels and handles)
  • One small accessory (laptop bag, handbag)

Maximum 10kg in total.

All hand baggage pieces must fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment. Pieces of hand baggage exceeding these limits have to be checked in.

As the stowage space in the cabin is limited, we will transport them in the hold of the aircraft if required. This is in the interests of your own and other passengers' safety and comfort.

Your accessory must fit easily under the seat in front of you, unless you are seated in an emergency exit row. In this case, you must stow your accessory in an overhead storage bin.

What is Air Belgium's (KF) checked baggage / hold luggage policy?

  • All checked baggage must be presented at the check-in counter.
  • Each checked bag must have an identification tag.
  • Baggage and carry-on articles will be carried within the space and weight limitation of the aircraft.
  • No articles of baggage or goods will be carried when that article is likely to endanger the aircraft, persons or property; are likely to be damaged by air carriage; or if the carriage of that article would violate any applicable law, regulation, or order.
  • Maximum dimensions (height + width + depth (including wheels and handles) must equal 158cm.
1 piece of checked baggage (height + width + depth (including wheels and handles) = 158cm maximum), maximum weight of 30kg, in Economy Class.

2 x 1 piece of checked baggage (height + width + depth (including wheels and handles) = 158cm maximum), maximum weight of 30kg, in Premium Class.

2 x 1 piece of checked baggage (height + width + depth (including wheels and handles) = 158cm maximum), maximum weight of 32kg, in Business Class.
