Don't Buy or Upgrade to this Seat!!! Originally I thought it would be worth the additional money to upgrade to this seat for our return long haul home. Although there are a few pros but mostly cons to add. Pros - you have good leg room but are partially blocked on the left leg by the door. You are close to the front of the plane for boarding and unloading. You have full access to get up without disturbing your neighbor. The cons however far outweigh the pros - The seat barely reclines, the seat cushions are very worn and uncomfortable with minimal padding on the back and under your bottom, There is a cold air breeze coming from the bottom of the door on your left foot which keeps the area cold, there is no space to store anything so you must keep it in the overhead bins, the entertainment screen kept falling down hitting my leg, the tray table had a significant lean to the left and down causing your dinner tray to nearly slide off the table and finally you have no privacy because people keep coming up to the area in front of you to walk around, stretch, and stand during the flight. Recommendation - Don't bother paying for this seat it was completely not worth it.

I flew on EI-LBT and the traytable was falling apart and the seatback cover was falling off. I didn't think the IFE selection was as generous as other transatlantic airlines, but it had a USB port so all good.

I really like this aircraft and Aer Lingus. The business section is small--only 12 seats. If you are a solo flyer, then you can have a single seat to yourself like 3A. It's like flying on a throne. Service and good were really good. Loved the Voya products in the amenity kits and lavatories. I also did not find the temperature to be too hot as is noted on many European carriers. Flying from Dublin to the USA offers pre-clearance of customs. When you reach your designation, you take your bag and go. For all of these reasons, Aer Lingus business class is my preferred business class travel from Europe to the USA.

Decent comfort, nothing special. There are personal TV's with USB power at each seat. Old aircraft, but for the shorter trans-Atlantic routes, it does the job.

Seats in row 25 have reduced foot room due to the in-arm entertainment systems of row 24. The housings for those systems consume several inches of the foot well area.

The seats 6D and 6E are preferred seats that cost extra. They do not recline because the flight attendants jump seats are mounted directly behind. They are ok until the person in front reclines their seat. Avoid these seats on the read eye flight.

This is a bulkhead seat right behind first class. Lots of leg room but no floor storage. I just grabbed my small carry on after takeoff with no problem. This is a small plane for a "long haul" but from Boston to Shannon it was 5 hours- not bad and comfortable enough.
